Reach Foundation is our alternative provision for early years and primary- aged children, offering a supportive and inclusive environment tailored to individual needs. We help children access education in a way that works for them, with a focus on reintegration into mainstream school where possible. Where needed, we also support transitions into specialist provision to ensure the best outcomes.

Sam Yeomans- Room lead/LSA

I'm a primary teacher at Reach Foundation. I have joined Reach after a long career in mainstream primary education, much of it in London, where I spent many years as a school leader.

I'd been searching for a new role and challenge for many years, without knowing exactly what that looked like- until I discovered Reach and their truly child-centered approach to education. I'm so excited to bring my passion for achievement for all, along with my energy, to help build the foundation base alongside such a supportive and dedicated team. For me, there's no greater job than unlocking young people's potential and helping them shine!

People would describe me as sociable, energetic and fun! Outside of work I love theatre, acting, singing and spending time with my family and friends. Like most parents, I'm often playing taxi- whether its the football field, a dance studio, or anywhere else my kids need me!

My friends would describe me as calm, friendly and laid back, I take everything in my stride.

As a busy mum of 3, I'm forever on the go- playing taxi to football matches, after school clubs and swim meets! My family is my everything, but right alongside that is my passion and career of nearly 30 years; working with children and young people.

Reach has given me a new challenge in my career, mixing my week working in the foundation centre as a room lead and also as a Learning support assistant with older students. I feel I learn as much from them as I hope I give to them.

On a weekend I can be found down at the quarry marshalling at the junior park run, shouting and clapping support for all the youngsters giving it their all!

Jenna Martin- Business and Operations Manager

My friends and colleagues would describe me as bubbly, full of energy and always ready to bring a spark of creativity wherever I go!

I'm passionate about making a real difference in people's lives- whether that's supporting young children or adults to grow, learn and reach their potential. That's why I chose to work at Reach; it gives me the chance to make a positive impact every single day!

Outside of work, You'll usually find me outdoors- I love fresh air, swimming and adventures! If I'm not outdoors, I love getting creative with new projects and ideas.

With a background in sports and leadership, I've always been passionate about living life actively and spending time outdoors. These experiences have shaped me and inspire my passion for encouraging others to take on challenges, build resilience, and grow with confidence.

What excites me most about working at Reach is being part of a team that is truly committed to helping young people thrive. Every day, we work to give them the tools, confidence and opportunities they need to succeed- not just in school, but in life.

For me, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing young people unlock their potential and discover what they're capable of. Together, with a supportive and dedicated team, I believe we can make a real difference.

I support learners in building confidence, overcoming self-doubt and discovering their potential. Wellbeing, both mental and physical, is central to my work.

You'll often find me encouraging creativity, promoting physical activity, or helping students connect with nature.

Outside of work, I enjoy family days out, dance and yoga classes, and staying active.
