Reach Engage

Reach engage is our alternative provision for secondary-aged young people, offering a safe and supportive environment that encourages regular engagement and positive participation. Our focus is on supporting each young person's holistic development - socially, emotionally and academically - to help them build confidence, skills and a sense of purpose for their future.

With a background in sports and leadership, I've always been passionate about living life actively and spending time outdoors. These experiences have shaped me and inspire my passion for encouraging others to take on challenges, build resilience, and grow with confidence.

What excites me most about working at Reach is being part of a team that is truly committed to helping young people thrive. Every day, we work to give them the tools, confidence and opportunities they need to succeed- not just in school, but in life.

For me, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing young people unlock their potential and discover what they're capable of. Together, with a supportive and dedicated team, I believe we can make a real difference.

I love all things hair and beauty and enjoy giving students a sense of creativity and belonging when they walk into the salon!

I joined Reach as it gave me a sense of belonging and the freedom to be creative within my work.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football, holidays and reading. Times like these remind me why I chose to join the Reach family.

I support learners in building confidence, overcoming self-doubt and discovering their potential. Wellbeing, both mental and physical, is central to my work.

You'll often find me encouraging creativity, promoting physical activity, or helping students connect with nature.

Outside of work, I enjoy family days out, dance and yoga classes, and staying active.

I'm really passionate about helping young people to discover the joy of sport and movement- not just for fitness but for confidence, teamwork and having fun!

I chose to work at Reach because I wanted to be a part of a team where every student is supported to achieve their best, and I love being able to use sport as a tool to break down barriers and build self-belief.

Outside of work you'll usually find me out on my mountain bike, training for races, or off on an adventure with my dogs.

With a background in PE teaching and sports coaching I have a passion for inspiring students to stay active, be healthy and develop key life skills through sports, whilst building their confidence and supporting them to reach their full potential.

When the opportunity came along to work at Reach, I jumped at the chance to make a difference.

Away from work I have recently started road cycling after a long playing career in football. I enjoy a good walk with my dog and watching the footy but most importantly, I love spending time with my family!

I believe that strong relationships are central to supporting students at Reach. As a former student I understand the importance of feeling supported, respected and understood by the adults around you. Building positive connections with students helps create trust, encourages engagement and supports their wellbeing and development in a meaningful way. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, spending time outdoors and playing basketball. By doing these activities I get to recharge, blow some steam and feel refreshed.
